In Frame Bike Bags for Cycling and Bikepacking
In frame bike bags are designed for cyclists who want clean bike handling, perfect balance, and practical storage placed directly inside the frame. This category is ideal for city riders, gravel cyclists, commuters, and bikepacking enthusiasts who value efficiency, stability, and comfort on every ride.
An in frame bike bag sits securely within the bike triangle, keeping weight low and centered. This makes it one of the best solutions for carrying essentials such as tools, spare parts, food, electronics, and personal items without affecting steering or pedaling. For bikepacking, in frame bags provide reliable storage for items you need every day on the road.
LESENOK in frame bike bags are handmade with real cycling experience in mind. They are shaped to fit naturally inside the frame, resist movement on rough terrain, and protect your gear from vibration and weather. Durable fabrics, strong zippers, and thoughtful internal layouts ensure long-term use in both urban riding and long-distance bikepacking trips.
This category is for cyclists who want a versatile and future-proof solution. In frame bike bags are worth choosing when you ride frequently, mix short city trips with longer adventures, or build a modular bikepacking setup that grows with your experience.
In frame bike bags are a foundation of modern bikepacking systems and work perfectly together with saddle bags, handlebar bags, fork bags, and hip packs. They help you ride farther, stay organized, and focus on the journey instead of your gear.
In frame bike bags are designed for riders who want flexible and ergonomic storage inside the bike frame.
For maximum capacity on long adventures, consider FULL FRAME BAGS.
If you want to keep space for bottles while still carrying essentials, HALF FRAME BAGS are a smart choice.
If your frame triangle is unusual, an in-frame bag can be sewn to your measurements — see custom bike bags.
Full frame, half frame or top tube: which in-frame bag
In-frame storage comes in a few shapes, and the choice depends on bottles, frame size and how much you carry.
| Type | Where it sits | Choose it when | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full frame bag | Fills the whole frame triangle | You need maximum capacity and can carry bottles elsewhere | Full frame bags |
| Half frame bag | Upper part of the triangle | You want to keep bottle cages free | Half frame bags |
| X-Pac frame bag | Inside the frame | Low weight and a bag that keeps its shape matter most | X-Pac bags |
| Top tube bag | On top of the top tube | Small items within reach while riding | Top tube bag set |
| Custom frame bag | Cut to your frame | Your frame is small, sloping or unusual | Custom bike bags |
How to measure your frame
For a bag made to your bike, measure the three inner sides of the frame triangle and take a side photo of the bicycle. From these we cut the bag so it fills the space without touching your knees or the cables. Step-by-step: how to measure your bicycle for a custom frame bag.
Bottles, suspension and small frames
A full frame bag takes the space of the bottle cages, so riders who need bottles inside the frame usually choose a half frame bag. On full-suspension bikes the shock takes part of the triangle — a custom shape is the way around it. For small frames, see half frame bags and compact models on all models.
Frequently asked questions
Full frame or half frame bag?
A full frame bag gives the most capacity but takes the bottle cage space. A half frame bag leaves room for bottles.
Will an in-frame bag fit my bike?
We can sew it to your frame: send the three inner sides of the frame triangle and a side photo of the bike.
Can I use an in-frame bag on a full-suspension bike?
Yes, with a custom shape that leaves room for the rear shock.
What is a top tube bag for?
It sits on top of the top tube and keeps small items such as a phone, snacks or keys within reach while riding.
